It is that time of year again! Growing Hope is running an online silent auction from Monday, November 23 to Monday, December 7. You can donate TODAY to help us keep building healthy people, places, and economies in 2015 and beyond!

To keep it simple to carry out, we're doing the auction entirely for gift certificates for goods or services-- e.g. massage or bodywork, financial consultation, music lessons, hair styling, flower arranging, energy auditing, gutter cleaning, knitting lessons, window washing, etc. You can offer what you do professionally, or any skill you feel is strong enough to share.
We're excited that this will be a win-win way to get attention to local service-providers and other businesses for the holidays!

Happy October!
It's that beautiful harvest season time of year, when the best flavors of fall meet the last hurrah of tender summer produce. Trees are bright with color and there's everything from squash and apples, to hardy greens and fresh herbs. It's the perfect time to gather around good food and celebrate!

At Growing Hope, we're ready to share some of that goodness with YOU. This month, there are so many ways to connect with Growing Hope and our friends in the community!

On Thursday, October 15th from 5:30-7:30pm, join us for our fun and informative Cooking The Harvest Workshop. We'll show you some delicious ways to cook up the best that the season has to offer! Cost is just $10 (register online, or bring cash or check to the workshop) Registration: Questions? Call 734-786-8401 or email

Then on Sunday, October 18th from 4-7pm, we'll be hosting our final Chefs in the Garden fundraising dinner event of 2015. Chef Brandon Johns of Grange Kitchen & Bar and Sweet Heather Anne will be wowing our guests with the most amazing dinner and exquisite desserts! This event is proudly sponsored by Whole Foods and tickets are advance purchase only! There's just a few left, so get yours TODAY.

Want to take home the freshest fall produce, local food, and fun crafts? Be sure to come visit us at our Farmers Markets! Outdoor market season runs through the end of October, and there's still tons of great things to eat. Come for the produce, stay for the smiling faces of your friends, neighbors, and our friendly vendors.

See you soon!
