2013 Growing Gardens Memberships available- join today!

City of Ypsilanti Food Ordinances- GH response/recommendations

The City Council of Ypsilanti will be taking up proposed Food Ordinances, which including urban gardening, farming, and hoophouses among other things, this Tuesday, Feb 19, at 7 pm at City Hall. Chef Series: Valentine's Day workshop for tonight CANCELLED

To all the Bona Sera supporters and fans out there: Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our workshop for tonight due to inclement weather heading our way, but please stay tuned for the new time and date. Share and Swap Garden seeds at our Seed Swap Soiree, 2/16!

 Join us on Saturday, February 16th from 12-2pm at the Growing Hope Center, directly after our Garden Planning Basics workshop, for an afternoon of fun seed & garden info sharing! Bring your saved or leftover seeds to trade for interesting new varieties with your community members and neighbors. Refreshments will be provided, and event is FREE!
