Growing Gardens Membership Benefits
Welcome to Growing Gardens! Your Ticket to great gardening resources and support!
Membership in Growing Gardens is a simple way for people in Washtenaw County to access gardening support and be in a gardening network. It comes with great benefits! Scholarships are available. Fair market value of seeds and plants alone are worth more than $50.
You can become a member as an individual (including household or family) or as a group. Benefits are explained below. Call us at 734-786-8401 with any questions.
Individuals (may include families or households) pay $20 or $40 per year and receive:
- 10 vegetable or herb plants - in 3 inch pots
- 10 vegetable and herb seed packets – varied types
- Subscription to Growing Gardens newsletter
- Ability to borrow gardening tools and access our lending library resources
- Invitation to participate in Growing Hope’s Seed Starting Squad
- Discounts on Growing Hope classes
Groups (may include school, community, congregational, or donation gardens) pay $40 and receive:
- 10 vegetable or herb plants - in 3 inch pots
- 10 vegetable and herb seed packets – varied types
- Subscription to Growing Gardens newsletter
- Ability to borrow gardening tools and access our lending library resources
- Invitation to participate in Garden Leadership Training course
- Link and short description of your garden on Growing Hope’s website
- Access to other support as available and needed (i.e. liability insurance or fiduciary agent)
Friend of Growing Gardens (Garden Advocate or Seed Starting Squad) pay $5 and receive:
- Subscription to Growing Gardens newsletter
- Ability to participate in Growing Hope’s Seed Starting Squad
- NO seeds and plants are included
