Ypsi Garden Fair 2012
The Garden Fair will be scaled down to include everything into a one day event on Saturday, May 12th from 10 am to 6 pm. There will still be live demonstrations, local business’ and artists, free children’s events, and information from local non profit garden-type organizations. PLUS MORE! The Growing Hope Center will hold it’s annual plant sale on the same day, offering a variety of plants for sale as well as raised bed kits, fun & friendly Growing Hope merchandise and great gifts for Mother’s Day!
The event will remain free and open to the public! The event will also remain a “Waste Free Event” as it was last year. We will be giving special attention to those who walk or ride bikes to the fair (a drawing will be held with great prizes!).
The Ypsi Garden Fair takes on new life for 2012 at the Growing Hope Center! Fair organizers Michelle Shankwiler and Sebastian Rataezyk are excited to join forces with Growing Hope in order to bring more versatility to the fair in the hopes of showcasing Ypsi’s vast and varied local green resources to a wider audience.
